WHO WE ARE
Navy Veterans Lauren and Jim Price are founders of Veteran Warriors, a national veterans’ advocacy group working tirelessly in enterprise-wide advocacy for VA process and legislative improvements (they are not claims administrators). Lauren is the investigative and front-facing expert, and Jim is the logistics expert and caregiver support for Lauren, assisting in accomplishing their well-defined and needed goals. This is a power team that delivers for veterans and their families.
Veteran Warriors provides experienced Hill
advocacy, research, and media outreach for veterans
who have lost their “voice”. They stand firm on finding
solutions and seeking accountability so more veterans and
their families receive the services they have earned, while
rooting out waste and inefficiencies. Through research, data,
Hill testimony, and agency communication, veteran issues are being
managed to positive outcomes. Current issues involve the VA Caregiver
Program, general VA staff accountability, specific VAMC deficiencies,
and revising policy to make sense of misused guidelines. Veteran Warriors
consider all Veterans united: “One Family, One Fight”.
DC is listening. Veteran Warriors serves all 22,000,000+ veterans with no divisiveness among service branches, gender, era, race or character of service (combat or non-combat).
Veteran Warriors has spent the last several years, building real reforms to many of the systems of the VA; the VBA (claims and benefits), the VHA (healthcare), HR (the Union, hiring policies and laws) and numerous other issues that have come to the forefront. We have worked with Congressional leaders and often provided these leaders and committees with requested input on most veteran’s issues. Our efforts cover on all sectors of the VA; but we focus on specific issues as the need arises. Currently, our primary project is working on a national investigation of the implementation and distribution of the Veteran Caregiver Program benefits and services.

"February 8, 2018 HCVA Hearing (2-6-18)“VA Caregiver Program FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: RE: House Committee on Veterans Affairs Hearing (2-6-18) “VA Caregiver Support Program: Correcting Course for Veteran Caregivers” (Tampa, FL) Early last year, Veteran Warriors provided the House Committee on Veterans Affairs with irrefutable proof that there is a systematic “culling of the herd” so to speak, of veterans from this program. After a lengthy investigation, we uncovered that over 26,100 veterans had been terminated from the program in just two years (Jan 2015 – Feb 2017). There were nearly as many that were reduced or even denied entry in the program."
